TAB
Test and Balance (TAB, T&B) is the systematic process of testing (measuring) adjusting and balancing all components of the heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) system to ensure that they all perform to the design intent and operate at an optimum level.
Commissioning
Building Systems Commissioning is a process that begins early in construction and lasts up to one year after occupancy. The commissioning (Cx) process, through tedious documentation, analyzing of design drawings and documents, and the execution of complex test scripts ensures that every engineered system performs to the design intent.

Founded in 2013, Precision Flow Engineering has quickly established themselves as one of the most trusted names in independent or 3rd party TAB and Commissioning firms in the DFW area and beyond. We achieved certifications by the National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB) in 2014 and the Associated Air Balancing Council (AABC) in 2018. We are now one of very few firms to be certified by both top certifying agencies in the country. Our firm’s President, Mr. Cody Shook has more than 22 years in the TAB and commissioning industries.

PFE makes it a priority to understand the building automation system and the sequences that govern every mode of temperature control. We apply a thorough and systematic approach to testing and verifying all sequences, temperature control modes, inputs, and the appropriate responses of the equipment.
